This special Portland Locomotive Works reference package combines detailed plans of Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad locomotive No. 24 with selected historical photographs showing the locomotive in service.
The drawings provide the dimensional and mechanical information needed by the serious modeler, while the accompanying prototype photographs offer additional reference for details that can be difficult to interpret from drawings alone—including piping, appliances, running gear, cab and tender details, and the locomotive's overall appearance.
